Former Employee - Server Assistant in Philadelphia, PA

I worked at Hyatt full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Some executives worked with your schedule.
It was union, though I don't know anything about how that worked.

    Cons

Being a server assistant, it was very annoying that some servers would flat out refuse to tip me. Granted they were decent people, but that was a little ridiculous.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

either raise server assistant wages, or engage the servers to tip their people out.
