Pros

great benefits, people are friendly, there is room for growth

Cons

upper management has favorites, lack of training for managers, no accountability from upper management

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't play favorites. If a problem is brought to you or you see there might be a problem work with the people to solve it. When you say you are going to hold someone accountable hold them accountable even if they are your favorite.

    I have been working at Hyatt full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Alot of interesting people from around the world work there. My fellow employees were great and there was alot of talent amongst them.
    Free hotel rooms bonus is great, and health insurance is very cheap ...

    Cons

    Some pampering of the big boys... seemed the management took care of each other and once you made it there you were indestructible. Alot of unwarranted ego amongst the managers also.
    Cheap company, Only paid Server Assistants, who do everything from delivering food , stocking to mopping , the same wage as the servers... they depend on the servers to pay 20 % of their tips to make up for this.

    Show your staff you know you are fortunate to have such talented personalities. Pay more. Do more to

    I have been working at Hyatt full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Everyone is very nice, they care about you and your success, and they make sure you areyou comfortable with your job

    Cons

    Some policies make it hard to do your job your style, a lot if hands on training with teal customers so mistakes are seen and customers get upset, and experience heavily out-weighs education
