I worked at Hyatt full-time for less than a year

Pros

This was a newly opened property

Cons

Franchise...not always run the same as Corp property.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

There should be some stricter standards in order to operate a franchise...employment conditions, minimum staffing guidelines etc.

    I worked at Hyatt

    Pros

The flexibility and understanding with military or family matters/emergency. The benefits are awesome, and I was able to travel and stay sometimes for free or greatly reduced hotel rates.

    Cons

Part timers get limited hours sometimes without notice

I have been working at Hyatt full-time for more than a year

    Pros

There aren't many employers in town, so at least it's a job.

    Cons

Poor treatment from management, very deceitful and vindictive. Unless you're in the "in crowd" you should expect to be crapped on constantly. If you're not, your job is to service your overlords. That is the only reason you exist, in the eyes of management. Management constantly hammers you to come up with new ideas. And then systematically tears down every idea that everyone ever suggests. They demand wooden tables, but you don't get to use any wood.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

What's the point? They'll never be honest enough to bother trying to tell them anything. They know what they're doing, they just don't care.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
