Brand recognition and resume building. It's understaffed, so you get a lot of experience doing anything and everything.
Cons
No management leadership, so there is no employee recognition, vision, or creative thinking. The organizational structure is disjointed, so learnings are not shared, career development paths are undefined, and there is no opportunity unless it's convenient for the organization to give it to you.
Advice to Senior Management
Listen to your employees, and move more quickly on everything. Make sure your middle management is actually qualified for what they are doing. And implement some checks and balances to ensure that your vision is filtering down to all levels...otherwise it may as well not exist.
