I worked at Hyundai Capital America

    Pros

Coworkers are friendly and easy to work with.
    Pay and benefits were average.
    Generous holiday schedule
    Vacation time is average.

    Cons

Zero opportunity for growth or advancement - Company prefers to hire from outside
Talented people are routinely overlooked for promotions
    Top down management style
Significant office politics at the senior levels of management

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Actions speak louder than words. Management should stop giving mere lip service to improved employee development and take concrete action toward this goal. A recommendation is to impose a two year moratorium on outside hiring covering positions which have opened up due to employee resignation. This would send a clear message to employees that management is serious about employee development.
