Pros

Established company, reliable history, supportive.

Cons

Middle management not vetted properly. Unqualified people in positions of authority without earning the position. Still promoting via nepotism.

Advice to Management

Stop the knee-jerk reaction-ism. Properly investigate not only incidents, but the people you are putting in managerial positions, in the field. Interview the boots-on-the-ground employees. Promote democratically, via computer ballots. Not by appointment. Let your employees pick their managers from among their peers.

    Pros

strong HR support, great insurance, no micro-managing, and you can talk to them.

    Cons

A bit of a meat shop, no career support and they remain aloof. You are there to show up, work for the number of years and go home. But that is contract work isn't?

    Advice to Management

Try to support your new personnel a little more so they don't have to learn everything new. Adapt to the changing policy of oversea assignments so your employees don't have pick up the nuances on their own.
