It's a great experience for a short period of time, not a long term option.

    Pros

    - Fantastic learning opportunities - Wide variety of roles as one grows in the organisation. - Excellent work life balance - A culture that places an significant amount of trust on the employee's sense of individual responsibility

    Cons

    - agility to respond to local needs are sometimes affected by the burden of global policies. - compensation packages often play catch up to main competitors

    Advice to Management

The core IBM values are extremely relevant. One realises it more with time spent in IBM and through observing peer organisations. The leadership team should continue stressing on it to ensure that it does not get diluted as the organisation grows at a fast pace.
