I have been working at IBM

Pros

- Flexible work schedule (I usually work from home on Fridays)
- Brand Recognition

Cons

- constantly putting consultants in a hole that needs to be filled instead of working to expand current role or knowlegde.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

- after a year on a project, any consultant should be given the opportunity to stay or leave
- senior level consultants should not be moved into lead positions of a team if they cannot perform atleast one of the roles they are managing

I have been working at IBM

    Pros

Great philosophy, strong leaders, strong technical community, strong R&D , century old presence

    Cons

One's success is limited to the authority of the manager he/she reports to. Great talents have been lost because a weak manager could not provide suitable growth. Poor /discriminating policies for India landed resources to other IBM sites across the world
