    Pros

    - generally nice, ethical people which makes for a "gentile" if stuffy work environment - respected company means they'll always pay you on time, but they won't pay you much. BELIEVE.

    Cons

    - extremely bureaucratic. My GOD. - spread-sheet based decision making - a new direction every month - tons of worthless meetings / projects which take away from the efficiency and focus of a team's proper goals. - management can be really stupid due to rapid turnover and inadequate allocation of properly trained managers. - ineffective use of team's talents - plug staff where there is manpower needed rather than directed, skill-based assessment. - lack of HR / strategy in staff utilization. - Sole focus really is the bottom line (at the expense of all else, and by expense I mean cuts) and making their wall street roadmaps. I do NOT call myself an IBMer.

    Advice to Management

Start focusing on your people and don't take people for granted.
