    Pros

Legacy of industry leadership, access to peers with fantastic skills and work ethic, work at an enterprise level with a focus on best practices.

    Cons

Massive shift to offshore resources and Delivery Centers. New hires coming out of high school with limited background. Morale is very low.

I worked at IBM full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Great place to learn new technologies
    Excellent opportunities for training
    Benefits are ok
    work from home is spectacular

    Cons

Required to bill ALL your hours to a project, expect overtime to cover vacation, etc
Since billing so much, little time to actually use the training
    Offshoring, offshoring, offshoring
Hidden layoffs (called resource actions) quarterly

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

spend more time focused on employees, less on laying off resources, costs have been cut enough to pump up stock, not much left

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
