Process and committees for everything.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Weed out the lowest performers. They hinder the high performers.

I worked at IBM as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

You get to interact with many people from different technology and business backgrounds. Good networking opportunities and get to learn a lot about large scale projects. IBM is the best in mainframe based projects. You will also refine your communication skills along the way. The best part is how much other IBMers are eager to help you and provide advice when you can't figure something out.

    Cons

The number of people you interact with in technical sales roles is very large, and can be hard to manage time and resources sometimes.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There is need for a more clear organization hierarchy.
