If your concern is learning and wide opportunity, IBM is the place. If you expect money, maybe try to find other place

I have been working at IBM full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    - A lot of great people to work with and they really helpful (not so individual)
    - Flexible working time
    - A lot of opportunity to change your job role from local to region
    - A great place to learn, especially about systems (There is a lot of mandatory learning which tracked by system but it helps to develop yourself)
    - A great place for fresh graduate, because a lot of IT company just take fresh graduate as internship but not as permanent employee

    Cons

    - Too many processes that you need to understand and normally for professional hired will be stressed out and resign if they failed to adapt to IBM systems.
    - Too many systems inside of IBM, and it's like jungle. You need to find the right people to help you, otherwise it can be lost in translation.
    - Now, they cut many development training because of the crisis so they need to cut the expenses but how do you expected people well to do their job without proper training.
    - IBM salary is maybe in the lowest class in IT compare to other IT company and it caused a lot of great people left.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Simplify the systems and process. Make it easier to be adopted, and it does not spend many employee time to do that
    - Try to evaluate about efficiency and development training elimination, one of the most important asset is people, and great experienced people will bring good experience with client. Client satisfaction is one of the value IBM has.
    - Try to adjust the salary and benefit level, otherwise IBM will keep develop people for competitor and lose many great talent

    Worth working for sometime.
    Very very challenging.

    Cons

Poor work culture. Makes you do night shifts along with day shifts. No time to live normal life.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat people like humans and not machines
