    I worked at IBM full-time

    Pros

Great people and technology. Learned a lot and was able to build my skills for a successful career.

    Cons

Top heavy. Too many managers, VP, Director, BUE, CUE, FLM for each brand, Product Manager, etc.,.. and major focus on EPS, not work life balance or people.

    Avg pay, below market value.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Bring jobs back to US and stop offshoring for profit. Focus on quality and customer satisfication.

    I worked at IBM

    Pros

When first started they took care of there workers, gave great raises and bonuses. They gave you the tools to be the best at what you do. Gave you opportunities to grow in your Career.

    Cons

Now they don't give you the tools to be better they try to keep you limited to what you do there knowing if you got more skills you may leave. Your pay wasn't up to standards and some years you didn't even get a raise or a bonus. There was very little opportunities to grow later on in my career from when i started twenty years ago.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You should take care of the little people in the company that help make IBM look good by letting them know you appericiate them. With giving them an increase in salary or a bonus.
