I worked at IBM full-time (more than an year)

Pros

- Has many IT solutions under one roof. It's cool to be part of the company that made Watson and that helps cities in the world operate more efficiently (think Smarter Cities).
- Different opportunities available in the company.
- Good opportunities to network.
- Great benefits offered.

Cons

- One has to learn to navigate the matrix organization.
- At times, one may feel a little lost in such a large organization.

    I have been working at IBM full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    I have enjoyed my time here and have met some of the most amazing, intelligent people I will ever meet. I was exposed to industry leading technology and have traveled and experienced different cities and clients corporate culture.

    Cons

    -Pay (Below industry standard with no offer of raise)
    -Opportunity for advancement in the MDC (Michigan Delivery Center)
    -Wishy washy policies that don't adhere to the companies standard policies
    -No concern for retention

    Reward the top performers, offer incentive to keep those who are getting positive feedback and remaining billable.
