    Pros

The COE is a place where you can start your career, but it also is probably not the best place to make your career flourish.

    Cons

There are very few chances for advancement within the COE, and most people who go to work at the COE are gone within 2 weeks.

    Pros

Work with a wide range of solutions and customers

    Cons

Salary is below market, focus on current week/month attainment. Span of control and compensation are siloed. Customer set is limited by corporate direction, not relationships. Management and Account coverage matrix turn-over is annual or more sometimes more frequent. Just when you get into an account, because you haven't closing anything, you may be taken off.

    Advice to Management

Value of customer relationships is completely ignored. Customers buy from people they know and trust, especially for complex solutions. This is completely ignored at all but the largest accounts.
