I have been working at IBM as an intern for more than a year

    Pros

Many things to learn, can discover a lot about different technologies that help businesses, flexible hours - you can work whenever you want, most people are very friendly and are always willing to help you out

    Cons

Difficult to get started, hard to find information without talking to someone. The internal websites are terribly difficult to navigate and the search function is awful.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

We really need better resources for getting started as an intern. It is extremely difficult to find the resources you are looking for on your own (w3 is awful). There are too many portals and not enough centralized integration

I worked at IBM full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

It's one of most admired companies in the world.
It has 190 subsidiaries in the globe, so you can really learn what the cross-functional work is and what the global company means.

    Cons

    Too huge to move fast.
From my point of view, IT industry is approaching the mature market. It's not dynamic any more.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
