Pros
Job experience for new hires... need to move to other companies for salary, promotions, etc
Cons
dying business... IBM is looking to sell Microelectronics and focus on other business areas
Advice to Senior Management
Need to look at the big picture. Need to understand technology and drive it as technology not as bean counters
