Pros

It's a paycheck until something else pops up. Nothing more.

Cons

There is no stability at all. Jobs are slowly sent to India or one of the regional centers created in the States. Layoffs are all too common. There is zero training provided and management has no idea what their poeple do because everybody is remote.

Advice to Management

Middle management needs to value their employees more. Sr Management is a lost cause. Totally clueless. SDM's that think they know what they are doing but have no idea how to manage an account.

    Pros

People are incredibly talented, diverse workforce in every sense and opportunities abound. On the leading edge of technology.

    Cons

Expect to continually be nickled and dimed to death regarding benefits. The new 401K change a perfect example. The "roadmap" inevitably means more squeezing of employees via cost cutting as it is apparent the company is not doing sufficient at growing revenue to meet their EPS target. The PBC system is terrible for morale and I say this as a manager who's dealt with it on both sides.

    Advice to Management

Will take a massive paradigm shift from the RMAC level downwards before employees are back to being viewed as valuable resources rather than faceless expenses. Once the boomer generation of 25+ years have finally retired, expect turnover to be high as retention of new hires in the past 10 years has been continually poor.
