Pros

Generally Good benefits. Coworkers are outstanding to work with.

Cons

Benefits are consistently declining for the past 15 years. No real improvement in benefits for past 15 years except for soft benefits that add little value for the employee. Company has progressed from very caring company to an employee beat down environment. Respect for the individual has disappeared. Aggressive layoffs yearly, unannounced to the public dismissing older employees. Morale low.

Advice to Management

Wake up to the way you are treating employees.

    Pros

Lots of people with 25+ years of experience who are a great resource to tap into

    Cons

The raises are so slow (even as a top performer) that after 5 - 7 years, you're doing triple the work you were hired to do at the same time, new hires have caught up and surpassed your salary.... On a "good" year, a promotion is a 5% raise!!!!

    Advice to Management

By giving your top performers 1-2% raises and bonuses, you're not giving them incentive to work hard and as the job market improves, you'll lose that top talent

  2. Extended Internship -- not bad, not great

    Pros

Good pay, not expected to work more than 40 hours in most cases

    Cons

    Moving up can be difficult

    Advice to Management

Let your employees work! You're either a BS funnel or a BS umbrella :-)
