    Pros

IBM has some of the nicest work facilities of any tech company in Silicon Valley. Location of software development facilities is near the edge of town with plenty of residential housing so no need for a long commute to work.

    Cons

Pay and promotions are hard to come by after the first few years. Your once competitive entry-level compensation can quickly become non-competitive after just a few short years.

  2. Great company, a leader in business, strategy works and is executable by sales team.

    Pros

Great reputation, Opens lot of doors when you introduce yourself as an IBM'r. Very profitable company so can stay committed to long term investment strategies.

    Cons

You wont get independently wealthy, but decent compensation for SW sales, great benefits.

    Advice to Management

Keep building and creating strategic vision.
