I have been working at IBM full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Flexibility, Big company where you can learn almost anything, technically there are equipment that are not going to be found in smaller businesses

    Cons

Salaries, at least in Argentina are not the best. Poor raises structure based on current inflation rate makes you to loose your acquisitive power (this is related to a current country specific scenario)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Think more on people and less in numbers and objectives, although the later are still important, what matter most is people.

I worked at IBM full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Good work-life balance and opportunity to maintain focus in other things outside work. Opportunity to network with others within business also present

    Cons

No real opportunity to do anything tangible. Limited scope for application of university study unless studied IT. Although IBM is known as a consulting firm, it heavily relies on IT even in areas such as management consulting.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Provide better opportunities for staff to develop. Improve standard of recruiting. Firm is struggling to keep certain employees and certain people should not be hired.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
