Great internship

Former Employee - XL C/C++ Compiler Test in Markham, ON (Canada)

I worked at IBM as an intern (more than an year)

Pros

IBM has a really nice campus for the lab in Markham. It's a dynamic environment to work in. You'll get great support from more experienced members on your team. I particularly enjoyed the awesome Future Blue student program. I made a lot of long-term friends there.

Cons

Depending on which department you work in, you may not be pushed as hard as you had hoped. The work you do may not be as influential as you'd like, but otherwise there is still a lot of takeaways working there.
