still a good well managed company overall. the goal just as all other industry is to make profit. also as with other companies people are the most expensive in the cost chain. to bad that this is one of the ways to address cost.

If by "you attitude" you mean "your attitude", it is great - now that I'm out of IBM, I make twice what I made at IBM, at a stable world class company that actually cares about its employees. Good thing they thought IBM on my resume actually meant something.

why the hell do you folks have to pick apart peoples grammar and spelling and punctuation on a stupid feed like this? no one gives a s*&^...really. its just a feed with opinions we are not in Writing 101. But wait, I know why..it makes losers feel better about themselves..

nit pickers, I think it's because a gross inablility to communicate effectively displays ignorance. And like Abraham Lincoln said, "It's better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool, than to open it and remove all doubt."

Also, since the management is sending its people to come in and provide positive comments here, it means the site is noticed.
I agree that spelling may not be the be-all and end-all of it. But think of this - two IDs with bad spelling / grammar are supporting the company while the others are not.

yes, IBM sucks big time. As an elite MBA who once worked for them, and glad I moved on, they fire or layoff at will, they make up stories on people's performance and collude among managers to all have the same story and therefore get rid of whomever they have targeted. As part of the finance team, I saw them "cook" the numbers and then report them to upper management which in turn reported them to the street, which in turn reported them to investors, so in the end IBM stole from investors, since investors make decisions on what IBM tells the street. They are bureaucratic, inefficient, backstabbers, idiots, all they got going is the IBM brand name, I long for the day to see them bankrupt and asking for a bailout. The joke has always been IBM stands for I'll Be Moved and I'm By Myself, very true. A great company to work for through the 80's, but not anymore. Watch Office Space the movie, that's working for IBM, and the managers are just like the villain in the movie....
