    Pros

    Lots of resources that smaller companies to do things cannot afford to do. Lots of good people working there.

    Cons

    Too much bureaucracy, overloaded with process. Too many databases and web apps needed to do straightforward stuff.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Tap into your history. IBM can still be the company it used to be. Stop being short-sighted. Your people are your most important asset. Don't dump a bunch just to make some numbers. If the numbers are missed, then adjust your focus and move on.
