I worked at IBM full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

A great company with opportunities that span the globe. You can start at the bottom - mail room and become Chairperson as one of the past CEOs did. They have excellent benefits and pay better than average. You can progress based on merit and are given opportunities based on skills and accomplishments.

    Cons

Extremely competitive as you are working with the best. IBM hires from the top tier of candidate so your peers are all above average. If this is intimidating for you, this is not the place for you.
