Pros

Good company and a household name.

Cons

As a contractor it is hard to plan ahead. Your contract can end without warning.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

It seems like too many decisions are made at high levels that do not understand the work and workload of the teams trying to keep IBM in front of its competitors.

    Pros

    I liked what I worked on. Lots of very cool projects. working from home when it made sense.

    Cons

    no security. sad to see so many good people go. lots of travel. new manager every year.
