Pros

Interesting work, comp is competitive, attempt to offer contractors same experience as FT employees

Cons

Typical large company issues: many players in projects that you never meet, little to no contact with managers

    Pros

Good company and a household name.

    Cons

As a contractor it is hard to plan ahead. Your contract can end without warning.

    Advice to Management

It seems like too many decisions are made at high levels that do not understand the work and workload of the teams trying to keep IBM in front of its competitors.
