IBM is a recognized name in the IT industry

Cons

IBM preaches work from home and work life balance, but they don't practice what they preach. Management have a much easier time moving to other positions within IBM, than non-management staff. Very political place to work...IBM has been in a constant state of change over the last four plus years and very little of it has benefited the employee, from no longer offering a pension to revoking work from home privileges to all employees within the our division to not granting pay increases for even some of their top performers for two years running now. Overall a huge surprise to someone who grew up in the Big Blue family.

Advice to Senior Management

Stop the continuous change with what you expect and require from your employees. Nobody likes a moving target. Reward the people who put on the high revenue map. Practice what you preach. Don't promote or sell the idea of mobility to your customers when you don't practice that yourself.
