Pros

Definitely a cool place to work. The majority of the people here are extremely friendly and easy to work with. There's a steep learning curve for new employees, so having friendly coworkers is a huge plus. If there's one thing to brag about to your friends, it's the data center.

Cons

For a while it felt like the company was experiencing some growing pains, but things are looking up due to recent changes in management, and the willingness to adopt new technology and rework existing processes.

    Pros

Incredibly smart people. The company really has a high hiring standard. The teams take care of each other, no finger pointing. Life Lock acquired ID Analytics, benefits are great. Life Lock seem to have a great manager / employee relationship. Hoping to see the Life Lock influence over ID Analytics executives.

    Cons

Executives are distancing themselves from the rest of the company. CEO unfortunately surrounds himself with "Yes men" and I hear he frequently shoots the messenger. Though great, company has trouble improving because problems are not revealed.

    Advice to Management

Create some open door policies and allow even the lowest tiered employee to provide feedback to the executives without getting shot down.

    Pros

You will work with a couple of smart people and for the most part your peers will be nice?

    Cons

Very bad management. Poor decisions come down from the top and then implemented poorly by bad mangers in the middle. Its as simple as that.

    Advice to Management

My advice would be to get some training. Don't worry as much about saving your own job at the expensive of your reports, but maybe doing a better job of pushing back on some of the unreasonable requests.
