I have been working at IHOP full-time (more than an year)

Pros

If you stayed for awhile and were a good employee, IHOP was very understanding of personal issues and problems. I enjoyed the people.

Cons

Favorites were often played, making it not so fair for the person who just does a good job but doesn't have a relationship with the District Manager

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Develop relationships with Upper Level Management

    I have been working at IHOP part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    Good money for a young server looking to gain basic experience and earn better money than minimum wage

    Cons

    Management staff has absolutely no clue what they're doing, but it's IHOP what can you expect?

    Take some training courses. Read some books. Learn how to run a restaurant
