I worked at IHS

Pros

Great environment, very relaxed and there's a lot of interaction amongst colleagues
Good work/life balance
Hours are not too bad

Cons

Little opportunity for moving upward. The company is not very large, so they are not looking to expand and promote their analysts

Advice to ManagementAdvice

IHS management was great. I learned a lot from working here.

    I worked at IHS

    Pros

They do have an excellent health/vision/dental package, although it was difficult to get time off approved for doctor's appointments.

    Cons

Immediate manager was micro-manager, and top management had no idea of how to use technology to make the job more productive. We were using a CRM system circa 1995.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Spend some actual time with people that do the jobs there before you make sweeping, nonsensical technology decisions.
