I have been working at IMS Health full-time (more than a year)

Pros

Flexibility in timings, at-least in my team.

Cons

No process is followed in software development.
Work pressure.
Very little career growth.
Not employee friendly.
Strict dresscode to follow, very annoying.
Very bad managers.
Hike is totally dependent on your relationship with your manager.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please bring changes at people management level.

    I have been working at IMS Health full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

    Big international company offering cross training and development. Was once very flexible and understanding of employees with families ( home office ). Great comp & Ben compared to other companies. Very good salary range and incremental yearly increase policy as well as bonus schemes. The company has great potential and great USP, and great people to work with, even within senior management. Would normally recommend to a friend but lately not anymore...

    Cons

    Unfortunately only offering cross training and development, not really actually doing something about it. Poor communication skills from management. Extreme micro management, no recognition, and no longer flexible regarding employees with families.
    Comments on political views and racial comments made. HR is quite a mess. Unfortunately fantastic tools such as PMP and employees satisfaction surveys are not used appropriately and therefore turned into a negative for the company. Management takes no action to improve nor motivate employees. No corporate responsibility outside the US.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Separate topics which belong on a personal private level with those that are professional.
    Communicate more clearly and honestly with employees. Get a better understanding of the business and what the employees are doing. Be more understanding about work life balance. Finally implement training and development taking into consideration the direction in which the employee wants to go and not managements agenda for them.
