    Pros

    Convenient location, great benefits, better schedule than most financial companies. Work day tends to be 8-6, as opposed to 8-10 the way it can be at wallstreet firms.

    Cons

    Times are tight - not a lot being spent on professional development. Compensation not as high as elsewhere in the industry.

    I worked at ING Clarion

    Pros

    Well recognized firm within the industry. Senior management consists of very respectable people within the industry.

    Cons

    No work-life balance. People are very unfriendly and downright rude. Compensation is below industry average. People straight out tell you that you need to be there to put in facetime. No clear direction from senior management as to what's going on and what role you play in the company, short of the company wide emails telling you that they are trying to improve communication.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Encourage employees to get their work done correctly and on time. Base promotions on actual performace and not hours spent at the office.
