I have been working at INVISTA

Pros

Meaningful work with world class employees.
My group is made up of some of the best talent in the world (it really is..).
If the Company does well in a fiscal year we all do well.

Cons

This company is rigid with regard to work at home policies. People can work at home, but it is not the norm. While this is not a major downfall, it may be a consideration for others thinking about joining the company.

I have been working at INVISTA

    Pros

Good pay, retirement benefits good, medical and dental leave something to be desired. Work isn't too labor intensive and job training has improved.

    Cons

Medical and dental are on the more meager end of the spectrum compared to industry standards. Also individual versus group performance pay creates a back stabbing environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

don't play favorites as much. More fairness would be welcome. No clear direction on what it takes to be a top tier operator.

    Pros

Very helpful coworkers who welcome new people, especially those who are inexperienced. Pay is pretty decent and there the company puts a good effort towards creating proper work/life balance for employees.

    Cons

Company takes their privately owned status very seriously so you don't have as much access to all of the information that you would for a public company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue hiring more young employees to bring more diversity in age and perspective to the company. A diverse company culture is extremely important.
