Current Employee - Computer Operator  in  Detroit, MI
Current Employee - Computer Operator in Detroit, MI

Pros

The pay is pretty decent, compared to most companies. Somewhat easy to move up or to other departments.

Cons

The people. Sometimes you have to question who interviewed them and how they even got hired in the first place. For a government job, some of the people are pretty lazy.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your employees when we have issues and concerns. Also stop playing favorites with some and letting them move into positions they have no business being in!!!

    Pros

Great people to work for and with. A lot of variety day to day, which kept it fresh.

    Cons

The season was, unfortunately, shorter than anticipated. More work was initially expected, but was sent for completion to other centers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep it a friendly place to work. Thanks for the great work environment!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

All managers need to know the day to day jobs of the employees. Most don't.
