Idearc Media – “Not Organized”

Pros

Nice clean environment. Great benefits. Over all the training was extensive and very thorough albeit very long. Management can be very supportive but depends on performance.

Cons

Commission structure when I was there was very confusing and kept changing. The upper management never gave a full story which led to a lot of mistrust. I was there during the switch from Verizon to Idearc and it was not fun. You never knew if you were going to have a job that week or not. There was still a lot of old GTE employees vs. old Bell Atlantic employee going on from the long time employees.

Advice to Senior Management

Get your act together and be honest with your employees. Change happens. Keep employees in the loop and they will be more loyal.
