I have been working at Illinois Institute of Technology full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Flexibility
    Great supervisors
Decent benefits (Free Room and Board)
Being at a Technology school, the atmosphere here is different than that of a public university, thus making the job more lax

    Cons

Despite wishing to help their student employees, they have turned away potential employees with the belief that the individual has too much to do already and could be overburdened by taking on this job

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have faith in student workers, this is student's chance to learn how to manage their time and the experience of being overwhelmed helps for the development
