-They told me I would make a base salary, plus a "car allowance" for gas milage, but the milage was factored into the base salary.

A company where what you put in is what you get out. A rewarding, driven work environment where professionals can grow.

I have been working at Impact Networking

    Pros

The reason I enjoy working for Impact is the fairness of upper management, career opportunities available to employees, and the cohesiveness of the staff. You are made aware exactly what is expected of you and how you fit into the big picture.

The majority of people come into this company at an entry level position and if you put in the time and effort, and excel at your positions you will move up through the ranks as the opportunities become available. In addition, hard-work is not only recognized, but rewarded in all departments.

As a sales rep you are made aware of the career path on day one. It is based on performance and execution. A sales rep's entire career is more or less on the job training for the next steps whether that be major account sales, management, etc. and your earning potential is unlimited.

    Cons

This is a demanding company, but with a right to be. The growth that Impact has realized, and the awards and accolade that Impact has received over the years do not come about by having mediocre staff and a sub-par work ethic.

If you are looking to go through the motions and collect a paycheck this is not the right employer for you. Impact is run very lean from a staff standpoint so there is no place to hide and no one to take cover behind. Staff is responsible for their actions and held accountable for their performance in all departments.

In most positions at Impact you are not looking at a typical 8-5 job so be prepared. In a mid-sized organization with about 150 employees there is a lot to accomplish every day. If work is not done the employee is not done working until all goals and objectives have been met.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the outstanding work. We appreciate your leadership over the last 11 years (especially over the last 3). You are very generous to your employees and more than fair. Thank you for for the career opportunities and always being available.
