Research Scientist in Medical School

Research Associate (Current Employee)
London, England (UK)

ProsImperial takes part in cutting edge research. The medical school and college have a large number of top scientists. The college has a very strong reputation. Strong at translational research.

ConsToo much red tape. Like any large organisation it is slow to change course or adapt to change sometimes. Can be frustrating to get the necessary administrative support.

I have been working at Imperial College London full-time

Pros: Flexible working hours, nice and fruitful environment, plenty of equipment… Cons: Salary is low for he London area, refurbishment of labs has been badly executed… Advice to Senior Management: Increase salaries for PhD students as they can barely cope in the London area, be harder on your refurbishment or other… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More
