I worked at Indeed as an intern for less than a year

Pros

Start working quickly - most interns deployed code in the first week
Intern projects have front-facing impact and real-world business value
Chill, laid-back atmosphere (not just because of Herman Miller chairs!)
Super nice, super smart coworkers and managers
VPs and Rony (co-founder) very accessible and helpful

Cons

Interns are self-employed independent contractors (may change for summer 2013)

Recommends
Positive Outlook
Approves of CEO

    Pros

People are very cool and helpful. A lot of opportunities to challenge yourself. Nice salary for a Austin job.

I worked at Indeed full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Very nice people to work with.
    International team is pretty cool.
    Flexible work hours

    Cons

No room for advancement at all. People come and go. Definitely not a career job.
Bad communication between departments/people causes confusion, delays, mistakes, and waste of time.
Managers set goals that are always unachievable so you never get good bonuses.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Provide room for growth. Or everybody will keep leaving.
