I have been working at Indian Oil

Pros

job security; was attractive at the time of joining

Cons

Favoritism by senior bosses; No clear HR policy on promotions; Performance evaluation is full of flaws; Management is not honest with its employees; diminishing leadership quality in top jobs; interference of union leaders in every aspect and management remains mute spectator to this

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start valuing officers with the respect they deserve, especially those in the middle management level, who have spent more than 20 years

I have been working at Indian Oil

    Pros

If you are a bengali as the community is strong and you will be very confident while working in a homely environment.

    Cons

late promotions, superiors have little to look after than to make their bosses happy, here only the reports are important and not the quality of work or how the employee is growing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You guys should try to remember your days when you were the junior executives and how the system could.....Man the system is so bloody flawed here, you should actually try and bring some senses over here and the people should be taught to do professional work, learn work ethics and most importantly EARN their salary rather than just escaping their boss's dis content.
