I have been working at Indian Oil

    Pros

    Salary is handsome.
    Work culture is okay.
I cannot think of any other pros about this company, so please pardon me.

    Cons

No proper attention is paid to employee's ideas.
Top management is sadist towards new ideas offered by the employees.
Place of postings is horrible to say.
Branch related jobs are very less.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Kindly incorporate the ideas suggested by the employees.
Better postings (location wise) should be given.
Jobs suiting to ones branch should be alloted.

I have been working at Indian Oil

    Pros

Focused assignments, not too much of clutter of work
    Employment stability
    Sustained growth
Wealth creation, if your lifestyle is simpler

    Cons

    Dependence on Govt Policy
Transfers can happen in the middle of an important career phase
    Too thinly employed for managers
Too many employees at workmen level
    Unionised cadre reporting

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look into pros, we've got many. Capitalise on these and build on the same.
Employee confidence will grow if steps are taken to minimize cons.
