Pros

You learn how to work with a variety of population of students and learn many different things from faculty to be able to apply to your own career.

Cons

As a student worker, there has to be funds to get paid. If there are no funds, you don't have a job.

Advice to Management

I would say ask more opinions of students when making big decisions about the campus. For example, new buildings and such.

    Pros

Great colleagues; staff and faculty really care about doing the best work they can; students come first; staff and faculty supervisors take care with people who work under them; students get to work with professors exclusively (there are no graduate teaching assistants here); campus is constantly being renovated/renewed; very fine academic programs in many fields (I know the music and speech departments primarily but there are many others); Indiana is a nice small town that is quite affordable, attractive, and has a flourishing, artistic downtown.

    Cons

Sadly, IUP is over an hour's drive to the great city of PIttsburgh. I wish it were closer.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!
