I have been working at Indus Valley Partners full-time (more than 3 years)

Competetive salary (but not above the market average)
hedge fund clients. good for your domain knowledge if you know how to learn by yourlself.
Directors at US atleast have some business sense and knowledge

Extremely underprivileged mngmt
HR are a waste of time and resources, they neither have any say nor authority nor have any knowledge about company or its non-uniform policies
Excessive compensatory disparity in people doing similar jobs
3 months notice from employee / 1 month notice from employer in case of resigning/firing at India.
1 year contract of 20,000$ / 1 month notice at USA office.
I wrked for both consulting and product division and transitioned from a subordinate to a senior pos.
In consulting, you are expected to bring business without any help/advice from senior mngmt.
In product division, you will end up combating with diff. teams within same org doing identical work. No structured approach. In case of new clients, ppl start working from scratch even if things are availble in the adjoining team. No appropriate practice is followed. Unnecessary work pressure is fashioned.
The offshore directors (esp 1, more like an HR persons) has no sense of formal communication. Even if you convince them, you can't reason with them.
Mngmnt's behaviour takes complete negative turn if you resign as if there was some lifelong contract being voided.
They don't respond at all, talk rudely and pester you even when you left the company for petty things.
Every1 at the org talks/thinks of leaving the org someday (even from the 1st day).

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Change the managers (Ds and AD level) or bring some change in them.
Take 360degree feedback about the managers from the ground level staff. You will understand the reason of such negativity in whole organization.
If a proper open door policy or feedback mechanism would have been there, this glassdoor review could’ve been avoided.
Reward/respect employees
Puhleez rethink why all reviews on various sites articulates you as a SHOP and not an organization. There has to be some truth in that.
