Cons

Although inevitable in any company, too often you see too much politics... Another unpleasent downside, especially for star performers, you don't have bonuses based on project performance, but only an annual bonus based more on the overall company results; in some cases this type of reward is not motivating at all, and descourage performance oriented mindset.
