Infineon Technologies – “Good company, but .... cost savings.”

Pros

Good benefit package, still matches 401K plan, descent salaries, stable environment. Company still has Siemens mentality, management cares about people. Global management was able to perform restructuring during global crisis.

Cons

people handle multiple projects, although management cares about people there are many too complicated rules and regulations reducing motivation. System of incentives does not influence motivation of every particular person. A person can not drastically influence his own pay, it does not depend on his skills and hard work.

Advice to Senior Management

Senior management is doing a good job in handling a tough financial situation, and cost savings. Management should improve communication within local teams. Do not go too far with cost savings, it can influence the quality of products and services.
