I have been working at Infinitive Consulting

Pros

Supportive culture which provides a lot of opportunities for professional growth and development. Great client base with interesting and important projects plus a lot of company activities (e.g., Infiniday, Gold Cup) which create a strong sense of teamwork and bonding.

Leadership development program sets the foundation for promotion from within.

Overall, not a surprise that Infinitive continues to be ranked as one of the best small consulting firms to work for.

Cons

The work is somewhat narrow, so if you don't have a skillset that can be molded in different directions you can find yourself on the bench and possibly out of a job. Also, probably a better place to come in as a junior-to-mid level professional since the management team is already a bit crowded.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pretty much keep on doing what you have been doing to get where you are. The culture begets success and keeps everyone engaged. Why change a good thing?

    Pros

Open workplace, Opportunity for professional development, access to a wealth of consulting experience

    Cons

Small firm so the consultants are required to hustle for clients/ extensions. Usually a lot of downtime between engagements and bench time requires resources to be in the office with nothing to do.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Senior Management more open to ideas and suggestions from consulting staff.

    I worked at Infinitive Consulting

    Pros

Worked with them for a short period of time, but had a great experience. They care about their employees and want to make sure they are involved and happy. Very smart people that love to get together and have a good time. Salaries are competitive and bonus system is good.

    Cons

People by themselves on staff augmentation engagements can feel left out. Company is getting more and more specialized. They need to think about long-term career plans when they hire people for specific specialized assignments.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep on doing what you are doing, but don't be so reactionary in your hiring.
