Pros

Some of the products sold are pretty cool. You could potentially earn 50k+ annually.

Cons

It's a call center so they will micro manage you and try to occupy every moment of your time from when you enter the building until you go home.

Advice to Management

It's the little things that employee's appreciate like one hour lunches and paid holidays.

    Pros

A lot of great people work here. Working with Google is a big plus, and the building/amenities are great. The work is interesting and challenging, and you get to meet a lot of people.

    Cons

The operation in Ann Arbor has grown to be the same size, if not bigger, than the operation in Cedar Rapids (the 'main base'). And yet, little to no resources are given to the managers in Ann Arbor. When we should be running our operation, we are stuck dealing with recruiting/HR issues/payroll issues/etc because the owners do not hire people to handle those roles here. We are forced to communicate with the folks in Cedar Rapids, which is excruciatingly slow and inefficient. Google is a difficult client with expectations that only go up, and it consistently feels like we are made to do more with less month after month after month.

    Advice to Management

This is specific to Cedar Rapids management. You need to make sure you are giving people the tools to succeed. Ann Arbor is funding the entire company now, and yet they don't feel any sense of appreciation or gratitude. A little goes a long way....but I have been here for almost 3 years and still seldom see anything.
