    Pros

The salary was decent for Utah. Good location. Lots of other Customer Direct Sales folks in one office.

    Cons

It was like pulling teeth to get them to pay commissions on deals closed and the comp plan is weighted heavily so that you make pennies until you get really close to your quota. Way too many layers of management with a lack of communication from top to bottom both directions. Terrible morale as most CDS reps are looking to get out as soon as possible.

    Advice to Management

Need to remove at least one layer of sales management, the 1st level managers are powerless to get anything done and just add an extra level of bureaucracy and inhibit good communication. Pay commissions when people earn them... don't drag them along.
