Current Employee – been working at Informatica full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – interesting work, good co-workers. a lot is expected, but its not crazy startup hours. if you are looking for a programming job where you can have your own cube but dont want to work for ibm, infa is worth considering
Cons – r&d is a little understaffed right now. you dont have the chance of winning the startup lotto. your mom hasnt heard of the company, and your friends wont understand what you are making.
Advice to Senior Management – hire more r&d.
